parkDaddy is a mobile application that automates guest parking registration at Ponce Springs Lofts through the ParkEaz parking management service. The app streamlines the process of registering guest vehicles so they are not ticketed or towed while parked at the property.

When you use parkDaddy, we collect the following information:
- First name and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Vehicle license plate number
2.2 Authentication Data
parkDaddy uses Clerk as its authentication provider. When you sign in with Google Single Sign-On (SSO), Clerk receives and manages your authentication credentials, including your Google account email and profile information. We do not store your Google password.
2.3 Push Notification Tokens
If you enable push notifications, we collect your device's push notification token through Expo Push Notifications in order to send you parking registration confirmations and relevant alerts.
2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect
parkDaddy does not collect location data, device identifiers for advertising, browsing history, or any other data beyond what is listed above. We do not use analytics or tracking tools, and we do not serve advertisements.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Parking Registration: To submit your guest vehicle information to ParkEaz on your behalf so the vehicle is properly registered at Ponce Springs Lofts.
- Authentication: To verify your identity and manage your account through Clerk.
- Notifications: To send you push notifications about the status of your parking registrations.
- Account Management: To maintain your account and associated parking records within the app.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

parkDaddy relies on the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy governing how your data is handled:
- ParkEaz — We submit your name, email, phone number, and license plate number to ParkEaz to register guest vehicles on your behalf. ParkEaz processes this data according to its own privacy policy and terms of service.

Your data is stored securely using Convex, a cloud-based backend service. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as you maintain an active account with parkDaddy. When your account is deleted, your associated personal data will be removed from our systems.
Please note that data previously submitted to ParkEaz for parking registrations may be retained by ParkEaz in accordance with their own data retention policies.
